Americold Appoints Jim Snyder EVP and Chief Legal Officer

Americold Realty Trust (NYSE:COLD), the world’s largest owner and operator of temperature-controlled warehouses, recently appointed Jim Snyder as executive vice president and chief legal officer.

Snyder will lead Americold’s legal and risk management operations and serve as corporate secretary and strategic advisor to the executive leadership team. As chief legal officer, Snyder will work closely with the board of trustees and management to bring leadership to the company’s legal function.

Snyder brings more than 20 years of executive-level legal experience to Americold, having previously served in senior roles with Home Depot, Family Dollar Stores and, most recently, Pet Retail Brands as chief legal officer. Prior to his in-house career, Snyder was a partner with King & Spalding. Snyder is a graduate of Wake Forest University and received his law degree from George Washington University.
