City of Ventura, CA, Turns to Verizon Networkfleet to Protect the Environment

New fleet management technologies are not only helping companies streamline their operations and improve operating efficiencies, they are also playing a larger role in helping transportation system go more “green.” 

The city of Ventura, California is a good case in point.

In 2007, Ventura committed to greatly reducing its ecological footprint and cutting down on CO2 emission to protect air quality and the fragile ocean environment.

As part of the commitment, the city outfitted their public works vehicles with Verizon Network fleet technology.
