Coretex, a leader in Active Fleet Management Solutions announced the appointment of Dean Marris to the position of Executive Vice President Construction Materials, replacing Clay Bowman.

Marris, who is based in Denver, Colorado, has had a long career in telematics and is a founder of International Telematics, which specialized in electronic road user tax collection, expanding into refrigerated transport in North America, with the lead up to the Food Safety Modernization Act.

Coretex is now expanding its Construction Team in North America, in line with the customer success being seen in the market. “The ability to offer ELD, integrated cameras, auto-statusing and advanced decision making via our Action Engine within our platform, is proving to be a winning combination,” says Marris.

“Our customers in North America have been asking us to expand,” says Selwyn Pellett, CEO of Coretex. “We have made the call to add US based product managers and sales engineers and to increase the number of sales executives and support staff. Additionally, we will be appointing dealers across North America to help with nationwide sales, installation and support. The dealer network has been instrumental to our success in selling telematics into refrigerated transport fleets, where we are now number two in that market segment. The entrepreneurial spirit of dealers has served us well and we intend to replicate that success with current and new dealers to be appointed this year.”
