DAT has announced a series of product launches designed to upgrade freight matching transactions on the company’s network, with a new DAT load board app for truckers and DAT OnBoard.

Both, according to the company, help carriers to expedite key steps of the freight matching process in their cab on any device.

So what’s new? The DAT Load Board App  features quick scrolling of up to 500 loads at a time, with pick up times and dock hours, and 90-day freight rates, a rolling average based on actual transactions between load providers and carriers.  Additionally, users can save matches to call on and develop future business.

It’s initially available on Adndroid, and iOS is expected to follow.

By eliminating paper, DAT OnBoard is designed to accelerate a process carriers have long found frustrating, and expedites brokers’ ability to add capacity. DAT OnBoard lets carriers use their phones, tablets, or laptops to fill out a complete profile – e.g., DOT number, insurance, W-9, CARB-compliant status, etc. – on a broker-branded website.

DAT OnBoard also lets carriers use e-signatures for contracts. More than 50,000 carriers are already in the DAT OnBoard service.
