Ford to Recall 2 Million Trucks

Ford Motor Company will be recalling approximately 2 million trucks following reports of a seat-belt malfunction that could result in smoke or fire.

The recall is for the Regular Cab and SuperCrew Cab F-150 vehicles in model years 2015 through 2018.

A news report in The Wall Street Journal notes that the vehicles were built in Missouri and Michigan and most are in the U.S., with an additional thoughts in Canada and Mexico.

Costs to Ford are expected to be $140 million.
