Ford Sales drop 7% in March; Fleet Sales Down 17%

Overall Ford Motor sales in the U.S. dropped by 7 percent  in March to 236,250 vehicles.

Retail sales dropped 2 percent and fleet sales were down 17% to 78,510. The company also reported that F-Series sales were up 10% versus one year ago.

In other areas of strength, Ford Escape sales were up 13%; Ford Expedition grew 43% and Lincoln sales were up 5%.
