GlobalTranz Appoints Robert J. Farrell Chairman of the Board
GlobalTranz Enterprises, a leading technology-driven freight management provider, has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Robert J. Farrell, has been appointed chairman of the board for GlobalTranz.
Farrell is currently CEO of GlobalTranz and will continue in that role.
Prior to joining GlobalTranz in March 2016, Farrell was president and CEO of Kewill, a logistics technology provider. With over 30 years of executive leadership experience, including serving as CEO of EDGAR Online (now RR Donnelly) and chairman and CEO of Metastorm (now OpenText), Farrell has an extensive track record of growing successful software companies. Farrell also serves on the board of directors for both BillTrust and Kitchen Brains.
GlobalTranz has emerged as a fast-growing market leader with a customer base of over 25,000 shippers. In 2016, Transport Topics ranked GlobalTranz as the 12th largest freight brokerage firm in the U.S.
