Gulf Coast Oil & Gas Taps Ryder as Trucking Company of the Year

Ryder System, a leader in commercial fleet management, transportation, and supply chain solutions, has announced that it was named the 2015 Trucking Company of the Year at the 3rd Annual Gulf Coast Oil & Gas awards gala ceremony in Houston, Texas.

“Ryder offers a range of fleet, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions that help oil and gas companies improve efficiencies, and lower costs while focusing on the health and safety of operations,” said Ryder’s Vice President of Operations and General Manager of Oil & Gas Steve Martin.

The Trucking Company of the Year Award, presented by Kenworth, recognizes the pivotal role that haulage services provide to the oil and gas industry in the region.

Ryder serves more than 200 customers in the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments of the oil and gas industry. In addition, the company provides supply chain and fleet management services to the industry from exploration to delivery to end-users.
