Jacobs Vehicle Systems Names Sam Fabian VP Global Operations

Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a leading manufacturer of gas engine retarding systems and valve mechanisms, announced Sam Fabian has been appointed as the Vice President of Global Operations.

Fabian originally joined Jacobs Vehicle Systems in 2008 as an operations manager in the Bloomfield, Connecticut, facility.  He returns to Jacobs after spending the past seven years at Gems Sensors. Most recently Sam was Vice President of Global Operations where he was responsible for Gems Sensors’ facilities located in Connecticut and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Jacobs in 2008, Fabian was employed by Detroit Diesel / Daimler Trucks North America for 12 years. During this time, he was directly involved with the launch of several global engine series and had roles of increasing responsibility in factory management and lean manufacturing deployment.
Fabian is originally from the Detroit, Michigan, area and received his B.S. Degree from Michigan State University in Packaging. He, along with his wife and three children, will continue to reside in the Hartford, Connecticut, area.
