Omnitracs Names John Hofmann New CFO

Omnitracs, LLC, a  fleet management solutions provider, has hired John Hofmann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). 

In this role, Hofmann will oversee the company’s financial, mergers and acquisitions, and legal operations, ensuring that Omnitracs’ financial strategy aligns with the company’s overall corporate objectives. As the company enters its next phase of growth, Hofmann will also work with the leadership team to identify new revenue opportunities and expand into new markets.

With over 20 years of operations, private equity and management consulting experience, Hofmann brings a wealth of financial leadership to the executive team. Prior to joining Omnitracs, Hofmann was the CFO of Infogroup, a leading information services company. Prior to Infogroup, he held leadership roles at well-known private equity firms Silver Lake Sumeru and GTCR. Hofmann began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Hofmann received a master’s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Pennsylvania.

This strategic hire comes on the heels of several other executive hires, including the addition of Stacey Martin as the new Chief Human Resources Officer.
