Overhaul used law enforcement, LE Connect to recover high-value brokered load

Overhaul is a supply chain integrity solutions company that allows shippers to connect disparate sources of data into the first fully transparent situational analysis engine designed for the logistics industry.

Overhaul said that in using its Law Enforcement Connect solution (LE Connect), a high-value brokered load was successfully recovered this past weekend. LE Connect is a patent-pending real-time method of connecting and sharing pertinent information on stolen freight with Law Enforcement and Cargo Theft Task Forces working an active recovery or in-progress incident. When theft occurs, the solution provides the ability to send live tracking data and other shipment data directly to the smart devices of Law Enforcement officers to support an expedited recovery.

With a traditional logistics-oriented visibility solution, the customer may be alerted when non-compliance events occur, but resolving the issue then becomes the responsibility of the customer. With Overhaul’s Supply Chain Integrity Fusion Hub, non-compliance events and theft risks can be identified and resolved on behalf of the customer. “Our focus is any threat to the sanctity of our customer’s Global Supply Chain. Our Fusion Hub combines contextual data such as weather and traffic, with real-time shipment information to proactively improve integrity and offer control in an environment that may be inherently lacking in both,” says Barry Conlon, Overhaul CEO and Co-Founder. He continues, “Digital freight brokerage engagements carry risk. Overhaul can address this head on through a system that connects the dots, makes sense of the data and delivers virtual control. For us, this is truly the meaning of Supply Chain Fusion and digitization of freight.”
