Known provider of advanced performance and driver safety training for fleets across North America, Driving Dynamics, has introduced Level II instructor-led immersive simulator-based training across the United States.

The Level II training consists of an immersive three hour blended course featuring Driving Dynamics’ exclusive DrivActiv™ virtual reality simulators that complements and builds on the techniques learned in previous advanced performance behind-the-wheel safety classes.

More specifically, the course is designed to provide drivers with critical skills to identify hazards early on and to execute sound operational control decisions to avoid a loss. Through practice on the simulator and emphasizing the proper use of vision for hazard recognition, the goal of the course is for students to achieve an advanced level of situational awareness and be able to:

  • Instinctively recognize and respond to danger
  • Identify complex road and traffic safety hazards
  • Achieve preemptive crash avoidance reaction times
  • Develop superior scanning and predicting abilities
  • Execute appropriate corrective actions to avoid dangerous escalation of events

Because of Driving Dynamics’ unique Open Enrollment program, fleet operators of all sizes can send one or multiple drivers to training events being held at more than 200 training sites across the North America. For businesses that require onsite employer-dedicated training the company will continue to offer this format as well.
