EROAD, a global technology provider of fleet management, electronic tax reporting and ELD compliance solutions for the transportation industry, today announced at the American Trucking Associations Annual Management Conference & Exhibition that Soona Lee, director, regulatory compliance, has been named to the 2019 LEAD ATA program by the American Trucking Association.

LEAD ATA provides educational opportunities to trucking industry professionals. Participants meet with ATA executives and trucking policy experts, experience leadership, media relations and public speaking training, and gain valuable insight into how to work with legislators to create a more efficient and profitable environment for trucking and improve the industry’s image. The one-year leadership program includes four mandatory meetings and two optional meetings along with opportunities to network with key trucking industry decision-makers.

“Soona‘s commitment to collaboration is yielding data-driven solutions that are improving outcomes for EROAD customers and the transportation industry as a whole,” said Norm Ellis, president of EROAD North America. “She is well respected within our company as a subject matter expert on regulatory products and for her unique skills that bridge the gap between regulatory policy, technical requirements and operational needs of fleet operators and drivers. The trucking industry needs people like Soona who understand both policy issues and operational impacts. LEAD ATA will give her the opportunity to drive positive change for the transportation industry.”

As Director of Regulatory Compliance at EROAD, Lee is responsible for understanding regulatory context, policies and technical requirements and translating them for development of the company’s suite of compliance products. She has deep subject matter expertise in ELDs in North America and works closely with fleet operators, drivers, and the enforcement community to improve compliance, safety and efficiency through the implementation of technology.
