Steve O’Kane Retires as President of A. Duie Pyle, Randy Swart Named COO

A. Duie Pyle, a leading Northeast transportation and logistics provider, has announced that Steve O’Kane, president of A. Duie Pyle, is retiring and that Randy Swart has been named COO.
O’Kane came to Pyle after spending 20 years at New Penn Motor Express, where he served as President his last four years with the company. O’Kane left New Penn to join Pyle in 2006, where he’s served as president for the last eight years.
In a related development, Peter Latta, Pyle’s Chairman & CEO, has promoted Randy Swart to COO and head of Pyle’s LTL Solutions Group. Keary Mueller will continue to serve as COO and head of Pyle’s Customized Solutions Group, which includes Truckload Solutions, Brokerage Solutions, Custom Dedicated Solutions and Warehouse & Distribution Solutions.
