Toyota Reportedly Investing $500 Million in Uber Driverless Deal

One of the world leading automakers, Toyota Motors, is set to invest $500 Million in major ride-share player Uber to jointly advance driveless vehicle development.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Uber has been exploring ways to lower development costs and related losses in its autonomous vehicle unit following a crash in Arizona earlier this year the resulted in a fatality.

Neither company commented on the newsflash.
