Telematics provider Transflo is making electronic logging device (ELD) adoption and compliance available for carriers who participate in the Landstar Transportation Logistics, Inc. network.

The scale is sizable: Landstar network consists of more than 47,000 approved carriers who will be able to access Transflo’s solution. These carriers can purchase directly through Transflo the Transflo ELD T7 device at a special price.

“We recognize that capacity providers need reliable electronic logging solutions they can easily deploy in a short period of time,” shares Rocco Davanzo, EVP of Capacity Development for Landstar Transportation Logistics. “Landstar is enabling Transflo to market its next-generation device to our approved carriers. Our goal is to bring user friendly, technically advanced solutions to our capacity providers.”

Landstar Transportation Logistics is a client and user of Transflo’s document management solutions, using document capture and digital imaging to achieve workflow efficiencies. The company also has integrated Transflo’s mobile document capture and image compression technology into Landstar’s proprietary Landstar Connect mobile app.

“Conversations about ELD-compliant capacity are happening everywhere, especially among brokerage divisions,” adds Frank Adelman, Transflo President and Chief Executive Officer. “The Landstar team is focused on ensuring that capacity is ready for the mandate.”

Transflo Telematics includes the Transflo ELD T7 3-inch device that installs in minutes, together with an integrated e-log mobile app for truck drivers and an online driver log reporting and analytics solution for fleet managers. The solution is being introduced to small carriers in the Landstar program to help them comply with new regulatory requirements set by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
