Transplace employees are passionate about providing supply chain technology

Transplace, provider of transportation management services and logistics technology solutions, was named to Forbes’ inaugural list of America’s Best-in-State Employers 2019 – being ranked 12th in Arkansas. The third party logistics (3PL) company received this award for its company culture and dedication and commitment to its employees.

With over 20 years of deep heritage in Arkansas, Transplace continues to invest in the area, which has become a logistics hub. In March, Transplace announced that it is building a new operations center in Rogers, AR to support company growth and technology investment to meet the supply chain needs of its growing customer base. The new facility will accommodate Transplace’s plans to add hundreds of new employees in the next several years and strengthen its ability to deliver comprehensive technology and logistics services to today’s supply chain.

“Our employees have helped make Transplace a leader in the transportation and logistics industry,” said Leigh Robinson, chief human resource officer, Transplace. “We remain focused on building learning and development programs to help our employees grow and achieve their personal best.”

Forbes and Statista selected America’s 2019 Best Employers by State based on an independent survey from a sample of more than 80,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in their U.S. operations. The surveys were administered in a series of anonymous online panels and provide a representative sample of the U.S. workforce. Employees were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family; participants were also prompted to evaluate other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.

Transplace CEO Frank McGuigan added, “We are honored Transplace is recognized as a Forbes top employer in Arkansas. We remain committed to a culture of innovation and inclusion and those values have resulted in an employee base of which we are extremely proud. We continue to expand our presence in Arkansas and are investing in state-of-the-art facilities to help us attract and maintain top talent. Transplace employees are passionate about providing supply chain technology and services and we share a deep commitment to serving our customers and each other.”
