Truck Parking USA, an online and mobile platform for truck parking facilities, has formed a partnership with commercial truck routing software company ProMiles, which makes its content available for iOS and Android and now includes a location based fuel pricing tool so truck drivers can view current retail diesel prices at thousands of truck stop locations while simultaneously considering routes with appropriate commercial vehicle capacities.

With the addition of ProMiles software to the platform, Truck Parking USA is working to improve difficulties drivers face on the road and helping improve efficiency. Currently, more than 140,000 truck drivers turn to Truck Parking USA as a resource o find the ideal place to rest without having to settle.

The platform’s truck parking locator allows drivers to find available parking spots before pulling over maximizing driving while minimizing search time. Drivers receive access to an exclusive collection of parking locations and filter by the amenities and/or security features they deem most important. The app also provides helpful reviews written by a trusted community of truck drivers who can report free parking spots near them, allowing truckers to see the real-time availability of parking spots along their routes.

According to Niels de Zwaan, Managing Director at Truck Parking USA, “Through this partnership, which is only the first step in significant additions we’ll be making to the platform, we are able to elevate the driving and routing experience for truck drivers around the globe. Our mission is to continue expanding our offering so drivers are able to take the safest and most efficient trips possible.”

Added Tony Stroncheck, President of Sales and Marketing for ProMiles Software, “When I look at the advances that have been made in the 25 years we’ve been at this, I am eager to see what innovations we will see in the next few years. Working with a team with the infrastructure experience they have shown in Europe undoubtedly will enhance their capacity here in North America.”
