“Building on almost 150 years of global technology leadership, WABCO is proud to have one of the most complete portfolios of solutions for the commercial vehicle aftermarket. Complementing WABCO’s extensive range of original spare parts, we will be unveiling our adjacent suite of brands at Automechanika. Showcasing highlights from WABCO’s TRAXEE FMS, as well as our ProVia, Reman Solutions and Workshop Solutions ranges, we will demonstrate how our comprehensive portfolio is enabling individual distributors, workshops and commercial vehicle fleets world-wide to be leaner, greener and safer,” said Philippe Colpron, WABCO Vice President, Aftermarket.

WABCO’s Automechanika highlights will include:

ProVia – The safety-focused and reliable budget aftermarket parts brand for commercial vehicle braking systems has expanded its product portfolio since it was first launched in 2016. ProVia products are engineered to provide reliable performance and are manufactured to industry-leading standards, with no frills yet no compromise on quality or safety. ProVia helps distributors, workshops and fleet operators world-wide to bridge the gap between low-end budget parts and premium aftermarket parts, striking a powerful balance between safety, reliability and cost. In just over two years, ProVia has quadrupled the number of products in its portfolio in response to growing customer demand. It now offers over 170 budget parts across 24 separate product lines that are specifically designed to meet aftermarket needs. Today, ProVia’s extensive product range includes all major pneumatic braking replacement parts for trucks used by leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM), providing more than 1,500 OEM part cross references. ProVia will further extend its product portfolio in 2018 adding seven new product lines including Trailer Release Valves, Double Diaphragm Spring Brake Actuators and Quadruple Valves.

WABCO Reman Solutions – Delivers a cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly service that converts used electronic, hydraulic, mechatronic components and conventional mechanical products to fully-warranted products in as-new performance. WABCO experts will showcase remanufactured air compressors for commercial vehicles, calipers and car air suspension compressors from its broad product portfolio which are delivered by its dedicated global remanufacturing facilities. Connected by WABCO’s powerful supply chain, remanufacturing operations meet exacting quality standards based on the company’s proven Six Sigma Lean and ISO-certified manufacturing processes. WABCO has also won multiple awards in recent years reflecting its leadership in the global remanufacturing industry, including ReMaTec’s ‘Remanufacturer of the Year’, 2017, as well as ‘Heavy Duty Remanufacturer of the Year’ by APRA and ‘Most Popular Remanufacturer in China’ by DUXES in 2015. Next year, WABCO plans to introduce “COREXPEDIA” – new customer-focused software specifically designed to further enhance its parts core return system.

WABCO’s Workshop Solutions – Provides effective tools, software and services to help workshops diagnose, retrofit, maintain and repair commercial vehicles efficiently. Workshop Solutions enhances operational efficiency, reducing the time to complete repairs and helping to improve workshop profitability. WABCO will display its Workshop Management solutions at the booth, highlighting its capacity to improve workshop performance and efficiency. WABCO’s Workshops Solutions offering addresses demand from workshops for efficient diagnostics and repair operations for vehicle braking systems.

WABCO TRAXEE – Designed to meet the specific needs of operators of small to medium-size commercial fleets, the TRAXEE Fleet Management System is the first telematics system distributed through the independent aftermarket channel and is available in Europe, the Middle East and Turkey. TRAXEE is an advanced telematics solution, offering smaller fleet operators several business-critical functions without incurring large capital investment or management overhead expenses. Launched as a scalable and rapid pay-back solution, TRAXEE enables operators to better coordinate fleet capacity, manage driver activity and improve administrative efficiency. The system also provides real-time status updates on individual trucks and drivers while helping to address tachograph legal compliance requirements across Europe and Turkey. TRAXEE, distributed via the independent aftermarket network, is one of the first FMS solutions which provides parts distributors and service workshops with a strong opportunity to partner with WABCO in addressing growing demand from small and medium-size commercial fleets.

Supported by a service network of nearly 4,000 workshops and 5,000 distribution points, WABCO’s extensive aftermarket solutions portfolio is available in over 110 countries. In addition to its wide-ranging offering of high-quality original WABCO parts, it also provides commercial vehicle repair kits and an extensive training program though the WABCO ACADEMY, which has already trained some 190,000 workshop, distributor and fleet customers to date.
