Winting tining record

XPEL, Inc., a leading supplier of automotive paint protection and window film along with its customer Sun Stoppers Window Tinting, one of the largest retailers on the east coast for window film and paint protection film, recently set the Guinness World Record for window tinting.

To establish the record, a team of installers from Sun Stoppers tinted 438 windows on 170 cars in an eight-hour period during an event at Town & Country Ford in Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday, July 28.

Ryan Pape, President and Chief Executive Officer of XPEL, commented, “Sun Stoppers Window Tinting is a great customer of ours. Helping them set the Guinness World Record was a fun thing to do to help bring awareness to their business, the Window Film industry in general and XPEL’s increasing focus on the market. Sun Stoppers asked us to participate and we gladly accepted to support them, like we would do with any of our customers with a great idea.”

Mike Burke, Founder and Owner of Sun Stoppers, commented, “We began working with XPEL about six months ago and XPEL has done more for my business in this short time than our previous supplier did in our ten-year relationship with them. This was a unique opportunity and we’re grateful for the support we had from the entire XPEL team. The quality of XPEL products is unsurpassed and we are delighted to partner with a company that supports its dealer in something as exciting as setting a new Guinness World Record.”
