3PL Provider Opens 300,000 Sq. Ft. Warehouse in Indiana

Third party logistics provider, Prime Distribution Services (PDS), has announced the opening of a 300,000 square feet of warehousing space in Plainfield, Indiana. 

This is the second Plainfield facility for the company.

The new location, referred to as Airtech, can accommodate up to 20,000 pallets. Additionally, it has 30 dock doors so trucks can be loaded and unloaded quickly and systematically. The Airtech facility will offer dry warehousing space, with refrigerated warehousing solutions continuing to be offered at the PDS Allpoints Facility in Plainfield.

The new PDS location will utilize the latest technology to manage day-to-day operations, including Radio Frequency picking and advanced automated case picking software to increase speed and accuracy. The facility also has a state-of-the-art racking system throughout the entirety of the warehouse.
