Mobileye Offers Collision Avoidance System in U.S. and Canada
Rear View Safety, a certified distributor of Mobileye products in the USA and Canada, is now offering advanced collision avoidance via Mobileye cameras.
These work both night and day, with the option to be continuously turned on, switch on at will, or be automatically activated when the vehicle starts to move.
It is recommended to keep it on the automatic setting to prevent further distraction to the driver.
The system then alerts drivers on impending dangers, giving them more time to react.
The approach is, according to the manufacturer, designed to “work on preventing collisions before they happen.”
Installation can be done by in house techs or done by the vehicle owner with simple tools and basic knowledge. This smart camera can be mounted on any size vehicle from cargo vans, to commercial vehicles, to RVs, and emergency response vehicles.
