Westport Unveils Dedicated CNG Transit Van

 

Westport is celebrating the availability of its natural gas powered 2015 Ford Transit Van, unveiling it at Parcel Forum in Booth #505.

Used to transport passengers and cargo, the popular Westport WiNG™ Power System Transit van and cutaway models operate on dedicated CNG using a 3.7L V6 gaseous prep engine.

The Transit Van and Cutaway is offered at 10,000 GVW and below and will be EPA and CARB certified. Tank configurations are available with a standard 20 or 23 gasoline gallon equivalent capacity with additional configurations, depending on customer requirements.

As a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier, the original Ford warranty remains intact.
