Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America Adds Heavy-Duty Truck Managers
Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America (MEAA), which supplies starters and alternators to heavy-duty truck OEMs and the aftermarket, has announced the addition of two new national account managers for its heavy-duty truck business.
Based at Mitsubishi Electric’s automotive operations Sales & Engineering facilities in Northville, Michigan, and reporting to heavy-duty sales manager Tony Pantuso are:
- Scott Balgenorth, responsible for Daimler Trucks North America (Freightliner, Western Star, Detroit Diesel, and Thomas Built Busses), and Motor Coach Industries (MCI). Balgenorth is also heading up the North American coach, school and transit bus sector.
- Marc Van Poperin, responsible for North American truck fleet customer support, service, communications, and training, is also working to generate sales with heavy duty dealers and distributor organizations.
As national account managers, Balgenorth and Van Poperin manage the growth of business in their specific areas, and oversee all related sales and account management activities. They also serve as liaisons between customers and Mitsubishi Electric’s engineering, manufacturing and customer support functions.
