Keith Klein to Succeed Scott Arves as President of Transport America

Transport Corporation of America, a leading provider of truckload transportation and logistics services throughout much of the US, Mexico and Canada, has announced that Scott Arves will be stepping down as President effective June 1 and that Keith Klein, an Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer at the company will succeed him.

The company noted that Arves has been a leader in the transportation industry for over 36 years, and has served as President of Transport America for the last 9 years. During his tenure, Transport America moved from public to private, improved operating results, and was successful in a sale to TransForce Inc. (TSX:TFI) in July of 2014.

Klein has been with Transport America since 1999, and has held several positions, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Klein held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer. Klein has been active in the Minnesota Trucking Association since 2001, serving as Chairman from 2009 through 2011.
