Stertil-Koni USA has announced that concurrent with the award of Canadian patent 2,567,386 (“the ‘386 Patent”) to its parent company, Stertil B.V., on March 17, 2015 — which is directed to lifts for motor vehicles — the licensing agreement previously announced on March 26, 2013 between lift manufacturers Stertil®-Koni USA Inc. and Vehicle Service Group (VSG) now extends to Canada.

In 2013, the two companies had publicly agreed to license patented heavy-duty vehicle lift technology to each other. The mutual licensing agreements resolved patent infringement lawsuits the companies filed against each other in 2012.
