Transport United Acquires North & South Logistics

Transport United, Inc. (“TU”), a diversified transportation company based in St. Louis, Missouri, has acquired North & South Logistics, a North Carolina-based freight broker doing business across the United States.

The acquisition marks TU’s first in the transportation brokerage industry. Steve Stutts, who founded North & South Logistics in 2000, will remain with the company and continue to play an active role in day to day operations. He has over thirty-five years of logistics experience. North & South Logistics focuses on LTL, truckload, and intermodal freight logistics throughout the continental United States, with particular emphasis on household goods.

Transport United expects to continue growth through organic initiatives and acquisitions.
