Trafficware Opens in Canada

Trafficware, a Houston-based manufacturer of transportation products, has announced the launch of its Canadian operations.

For the Canadian market, Trafficware’s presence provides transportation authorities direct access to an established technology and manufacturing solutions provider. Factory direct sales will encompass Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime Provinces while Fortran Traffic Systems will serve the Western Canada Provinces from Manitoba to British Columbia.

Transportation authorities rely on Trafficware’s technology to manage their communities’ complex traffic networks. Key customers include the states of Louisiana, South Carolina and New York; counties such as Palm Beach, Florida; Santa Clara, California; and Broward, Florida; and cities like Las Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, Palo Alto and Cairo, Egypt.

 

The company’s Synchro® traffic analysis product alone is used by engineers in more than 90 countries and in every province in Canada and state in the United States.
