Geotab Updated with HOS Tool in ProPlus Plan
Geotab, a leader in telematics with more than 450,000 vehicles in 70 countries, has announced that its ProPlus monthly plan now includes the Hours of Service (HOS) tools needed by fleets to meet the new electronic logging device (ELD) regulations.
In the past, Geotab charged separately for this feature, but it is now included with the ProPlus plan.
“Certain customers require up-to-the-second data for increasing safety, compliance and operational efficiencies,” said Geotab CEO, Neil Cawse. “ProPlus provides three times more data for GPS fleet management than previous plans. This increase in speed and quantity of data points allows for the enabling of animated near live vehicles on a map and better utilization of our in-vehicle driver coaching solution GO TALK. ”
With the recent release of FMCSA’s Hours of Service Final Rule, drivers will be required to move to Electronic Driver Logs by December 2017.
Geotab Drive, Geotab’s HOS ELD and vehicle inspection application featured in ProPlus, helps to make the transition operated more smoothly.
