Dicom Transportation Group and New Penn have formed a partnership to provide cross-border LTL services.

The collaboration allows both companies to offer broader coverage and enhanced capabilities, with New Penn providing U.S. LTL service, and Dicom providing cross-border and intra-Canada LTL service.

According to Scott Dobak, Dicom CEO, “Both New Penn and Dicom are market leaders–New Penn in the United States and Dicom in Canada, providing an exemplary customer experience centered on fast and reliable overnight transit. This partnership will offer both Dicom and New Penn customers a seamless cross-border service with most lanes operating as a 24-hour service.”

“With Dicom as our partner within Canada, New Penn customers will have immediate access to the expansive Canadian footprint Dicom maintains,” said Don Foust, president of New Penn.

New Penn is celebrating 85 years of transportation services. With the most next-day shipping lanes to and from Canada in its footprint, New Penn crosses the border with fast transit times and guaranteed delivery options, including next-day service to the greater Toronto area and parts of Montreal. Standard next-day and two-day delivery is provided to all direct Ontario and Quebec points.

Dicom previously announced the expansion of its parcel services into the U.S., integrating the acquisition of its U.S. parcel network into its Canadian parcel network.
