Bourque Logistics Announces SHIPPER BI Software
Bourque Logistics, a leader in logistics software and services for industrial shippers, announced the upcoming release of SHIPPER BI, a logistics business intelligence tool to provide clients visual evaluation of performance measures. The release is scheduled for fall, 2018.
SHIPPER BI provides intuitive dashboards which aggregate a wealth of fleet, shipment, freight cost, and equipment maintenance data. This allows logistics managers to immediately identify and generate reports on efficiencies and trends within their logistics operations. SHIPPER BI is a multi-mode tool addressing rail, truck, and intermodal operations, both domestic and international, unlocking the potential for more informed, business-driven decisions.
“Through its intuitive dashboards, SHIPPER BI allows our clients to gain total visibility of logistics operations on both a tactical and strategic level,” said Steve Bourque, president of Bourque Logistics. “Its visualization capabilities allow our clients to reveal key trends based upon their multi-mode transactions captured within RAILTRAC®, YardMaster®, YardMaster Truck®, RateServer®, RAILAcct®, and TCMS Navigator.”
SHIPPER BI is an intuitive, cloud-based system available to Bourque Logistics and TCMS customers who use Bourque’s rail, truck, and intermodal logistics modules. Clients may leverage both standard and customized dashboards as their needs require. In addition, Bourque provides professional Shipper BI consulting services allowing their clients to tailor dashboard reporting to their specific needs. The primary benefits of Shipper BI are:
- Aggregation of key indicators from large data sets
- Measurement of fleet efficiencies and identification of inefficiencies
- Definition and visualization of logistics performance measures
- Identification of positive and negative trends in logistics and procurement operations
- Instant visibility of outliers and correlation among trends
- Automated distribution of graphical reports
