ABF Freight Announces Rate Increases

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, has announced an increase in general rates and charges effective November 3, 2014.

According to the company, rates will increase by about 5.4 percent, although the effect on specific lanes and shipments will vary.

ABF Freightsm operates the core less-than-truckload network for North American shippers of all sizes who value quality and an exceptional experience.

This news comes on the heels of a freight hike by Con-Way Freight, which is expected to increase 4.7 percent on average.
