A&R Logistics Receives Deal of the Year from Association for Corporate Growth

 Houston-based A&R Logistics (A&R), one of North America’s leading supply chain services companies for the chemical industry, received the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) Deal of the Year award for its acquisition of Plantgistix Holdings. A&R won the award in the Industrial, Power and Infrastructure category.

In November 2019, A&R with Wind Point Partners, a Chicago-based private equity investment firm, acquired Plantgistix, a premier provider of packaging, warehousing and full-scale export services dedicated to the plastic resin industry with strategically located facilities in Houston. “We are extremely honored to receive ACG’s prestigious Deal of the Year award for our strategic acquisition of Plantgistix,” said A&R Logistics CEO Mark Holden. “The Plantgistix acquisition positions A&R as North America’s only end-to-end provider of outsourced warehousing, packaging and export services dedicated to the plastic resin industry,” he concluded.

The ACG Deal of the Year awards celebrate Houston’s middle market deal community, recognizing the deals and dealmakers who drive middle market growth resulting in job growth, capital formation and the advancement of business relationships.  The Deal of the Year awards are reviewed and ranked by an independent panel of distinguished judges and top business leaders.
