Leading household goods mover, Atlas Van Lines, has deployed a mobile computing platform and suof applications across its fleet to help meet its fleet safety and regulatory compliance goals.

The goals are to track its drivers’ hours in near real-time, leading to more efficient fleet management, increased reporting accuracy and improved compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.

Recognized worldwide for its household and corporate relocation and logistics services, Atlas Van Lines is proactively preparing its fleet for the expected federally mandated Electronic Logging Device (ELD) regulation.   The company is using a solution from Omnitracs.
