Barr-Nunn Builds New Terminal in Charlotte NC

Barr-Nunn Transportation, Inc., now celebrating 36 years in business, has another reason to smile.  The company is nearing completion of its new Charlotte, North Carolina terminal — slotted for late this quarter.

The new Barr-Nunn Terminal and grounds in Charlotte NC will provide parking for plenty of tractors and/or trailers. The terminal will also have a new 7,200 square -foot shop facility with full service bays, including a drive over pit that will help expedite services. This will allow Barr-Nunn to continue to provide top notch equipment service and repairs for their drivers.

The new terminal will also have driver and office space of 5,600 square-feet making up a large driver’s lounge, kitchen, fitness room, bathrooms/showers, all with 24-hour access.

“This new facility will allow our drivers more comfort when they are waiting for their truck to be serviced or simply passing through. We operate a large percentage of our fleet in the southeast so this new facility will touch a good percentage of our drivers. This also allows us to put Operations, and Safety personnel in the field to be closer to our drivers,” says Jeff Blank, Barr-Nunn’s Director of Recruiting.
