BoltBus Fleet Ups the Entertainment Value
Looking to make your fleet a bit more entertaining?
Consider BoltBus, a bus line focused on service, luxury and convenience at low prices, that has now announced the launch of its free on-board entertainment system across its entire fleet.
BoltBus became the first in the U.S. intercity bus industry to introduce a bring-your-own-device on-board entertainment experience when it piloted the feature in 2013.
“We are thrilled to complete the installation of our new on-board entertainment system across the entire BoltBus fleet,” said David Hall, general manager of BoltBus. “We know BoltBus commuter and leisure riders want to stay connected when they travel, and we received positive feedback following the pilot launch of our entertainment system in our Pacific Northwest markets a few years ago, so we are excited to finally offer this entertainment option to travelers across the country.”
The entertainment system enables customers to enjoy movies and television shows, play games, surf the Web, and read the latest news – all completely free and all from their own Wi-Fi enabled devices including laptops, tablets or smartphones. The new system also features increased bandwidth for an improved Wi-Fi experience at no charge, and it now offers a more premium Internet option allowing for faster surfing and more productivity for a small fee.
Customers will be able to choose from an extensive library of Hollywood movies, premium cable and network television shows, 15 video channels, and current news videos.
New movies will be added each month, video channels will be updated weekly and news will be delivered on the hour. A portion of the movies in the library are new releases, available as early as 90 days after release into movie theaters, in some cases before they’re available on DVD.
