CalAmp Joins Global Coalition To Improve Road Safety
Recently a coalition of global private sector companies working together to improve road safety, Together for Safer Roads (TSR), welcomed CalAmp as the newest member of the coalition.
The goals of TSR has been to help implement safer practices for fleets by means of education and intervention, accelerate safer cities by utilizing emerging technologies and data-based decision making, and expand the private sector’s engagement in the global road safety community through public-private partnerships.
“With decades of experience in emerging technologies and machine to machine communications, CalAmp will be a valuable contributor to the coalition’s efforts in supporting safer companies and safer cities to invest in evidence-based solutions,” said David Braunstein, president of TSR.
CalAmp, a pioneer in the Internet of Things (IoT), offering a range of road safety services, which will contribute to advance TSR’s mission of bending the curve on road traffic collisions.
Since its launch, CalAmp’s road safety solutions have generated numerous services that businesses around the world utilize daily. From stolen vehicle recovery, maintenance support, crash detection and instant notification, guardian services, and mobile applications, CalAmp’s focus on a variety of challenges in road safety that are geared for fleets.
