CALSTART Applauds EPA’s Actions to Authorize Leading States to Implement Critical Clean Cars and Trucks Programs

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved California’s waiver for the Advanced Clean Cars II and Heavy-Duty Omnibus standards, upholding states’ authority to implement and enforce stronger-than-federal protections to cut tailpipe pollution under the Clean Air Act to adopt and implement their own clean vehicle and air quality regulations.
