Canadian Freight Volumes Show Sleight October Gain While TransCore Link Logistics Canadian Freight Index was flat in October, increasing just one percent from September, year-over-year volumes continue to break records, jumping 21 percent compared to October 2013. Cross-border load volumes for October averaged 69 percent of the total.

Loads leaving Canada to the United States vaulted 70 percent year-over-year.

Loads into Canada improved 14 percent year-over-year. Intra-Canada load volumes represented 26 percent of the total volumes for October and rose 22 percent year-over-year.
