Why Emergency Service Providers Tap Into Chevin Fleet Solutions
Emergency service provider fleets nationwide have been increasingly adopting FleetWave from Chevin Fleet Solutions, the company reported.
Here’s what’s new: Chevin’s three newest emergency services clients include the New Mexico State Police, a brand-new client; the Boston Fire Department, that recently went ‘live’ with the FleetWave software; and Falck USA, one of the largest private providers of emergency medical services in the United States.
Other large-scale emergency services providers that have adopted Chevin’s FleetWave product include the New York State Police, British Columbia Ambulance Services, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services.
So what’s at play? Emergency services providers are using FleetWave modules to streamline their fleet operations and manage a number of different functions including vehicles, drivers, maintenance, work orders, parts inventory, accidents, and to integrate commercial fuel cards.
For the Boston Fire Department, Chevin is enabling an integration with Auto Plus, the operation’s dedicated on-site parts supplier, to facilitate sending parts requests from work orders within FleetWave without the need for redundant data entry.
Speaking on the popularity of FleetWave among emergency services providers, Ron Katz, Chevin’s Senior Vice President for North American Sales, said:
“The increasing popularity of FleetWave in the emergency services market among new and legacy clients validates that our software is a highly effective and easy-to-use management tool, and a valuable central repository of fleet information for cost, utilization, productivity and specification analyses.”
