Fleet Complete Launches Hours of Service Mobile App
Fleet Complete has announced the launch of its latest Hours of Service (HoS) mobile app available through Fleet Complete’s distribution partners in the U.S. and Canada.
The HoS app joins Fleet Complete’s suite of fleet solutions offers customers a single platform for fleet tracking, mobile resource tracking, mobile worker dispatching, asset tracking and fleet compliance solutions.
The goal of course is to help drivers record their duty status, available drive time by monitoring engine hours, vehicle movement, distance driven and location information as well as choose current HoS rules and perform vehicle inspections. The app has Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to display timely violation warnings, send emails to designated managers, share data and store logs for six months among other enhanced features.
This comes as the the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has indicated it will be enforcing Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) by December 18, 2017.
