Geotab Acquires Strategic Telecom Solutions

Geotab , a leading global provider of telematics, has announced the acquisition of one of its partners: Strategic Telecom Solutions (STS).

Founded in 2004, STS has more than 65,000 subscribers across more than 3,000 customers. The acquisition enables Geotab to: Offer specialized services to Geotab’s global sales channel partners that target the small-to-mid size fleet market segment, which includes offering onboarding capabilities, customer experience-driven support channels, and sales model assistance services.

The company noted that with the frequent changes in HOS regulations, automated services help reduce the challenges of staying in compliance and monitoring driver safety.

Geotab’s solutions are designed to help improve productivity, optimize fleets through the reduction of fuel consumption, enhance driver safety and achieve stronger compliance to regulatory changes. The company’s products are represented and sold worldwide through a reseller network on five continents and serve over 12,000 customers.
