Getloaded announces new load board mobile app

Getloaded, one of the most popular spot freight load board for truckers, has released a new load board made specifically for mobile. The new service reflects a shift in the way drivers use technology, with more than 60 percent of Getloaded members accessing the load board through a mobile device.

“We didn’t just make a mobile version of the load board – we made a load board specifically for mobile,” said Eileen Hart, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications. “Rather than just make sure the service would work on a phone or tablet, we reimagined the load board through the mobile experience so that we could deliver a better service to truckers.”

Getloaded Mobile makes it easier for drivers to manage life on the road by giving owner-operators and motor carriers access to a full-featured load board on their smartphones and tablets. It also comes with location-based tools that use the device’s GPS to reduce deadhead miles and make load searches faster.

Available on Apple and Android devices, Getloaded Mobile lets users search for nearby loads with the touch of a button. Truckers can also save their home location in the app settings and use the “Take Me Home” to find return-trip loads instantly.
