GlobalTranz Closes Acquisition of AFN Logistics
GlobalTranz Enterprises, Inc., a leading technology-driven third-party logistics (3PL) solutions provider, announced that it has closed its previously announced acquisition of AFN Logistics, a leader in freight brokerage, 3PL and transportation management services.
The acquisition is designed to accelerate GlobalTranz’s growth in the 3PL industry, and creates a company that will exceed $1.5 billion in revenue.
AFN Logistics is GlobalTranz’s seventh acquisition since January 2017, expanding its footprint and capabilities with Greensboro-based SynchOne, LLC, Dallas-based AJR Transportation, Salt Lake City-based Apex Logistics Group, Milwaukee-based Global Freight Source, Minneapolis-based Logistics Planning Services, and Richmond-based Worthington Logistics.
