Health and Wellness Coaching Accelerates to Professional Drivers

Professional drivers may have added new support in their efforts to stay healthy and fit thanks to Rolling Strong, the provider of driver wellness programs for transportation companies and their drivers.

The company that serves drivers as well as owner-operators, announced it has selected mobile marketing provider Moblico to deploy the health and wellness coaching and driver reward programs on its recently introduced mobile app.

“Moblico is known for its ability to harness the power of mobile devices to drive engagement and loyalty with personalized, interactive communications between providers and users,” said Stephen Kane, president of Rolling Strong. “We chose to use their powerful and highly unique platform to directly communicate with drivers and to provide customized coaching and tailored rewards to users of our new health and wellness mobile app.

Here’s how it works: Similar to the way a grocery chain uses mobile marketing technology to send customer-targeted offers and rewards based on shopping habits, Rolling Strong will be using the Moblico platform to provide its virtual coaches with the right messages to send to drivers. For example, if a driver isn’t logging enough sleep or exercise or is reporting too many calories on the app, articles about healthy sleeping, eating or exercise habits will be sent. Likewise, if the driver is logging effective sleep, exercise or eating habits, the platform will issue points and rewards.

The new Rolling Strong health and wellness mobile app for IOS and Android devices offers the following features:

• Nutrition Guidance including meal suggestions and predictive nutrition based on location though truck stop, restaurant and food item search capabilities, as well as daily food logging with calorie counts and targets.
• Exercise Programs including guided workout routines based on personalized preferences with duration and intensity choices, and daily step tracking with an integrated wearable activity tracker.
• Sleep time and pattern tracking with an integrated wearable activity tracker, and CPAP integration.
• Personal Health Records including biometric data from physicians, wellness coaches or health check stations, DOT certification reminders and the ability to connect with a wellness coach.
