Indian Logistics Company to Explore Run in the U.S. Marketplace
India’s leading logistics and transportation service provider, the Pune-headquartered Shree Hatkeshwara Group, has announced it is exploring a run into the US market.
Established in 1991, Shree Hatkeshwara Group is engaged in the logistics and transportation services. The company currently transports over 2 million metric tons of cargo per year through its pan-India network of 800-plus vehicles, all owned by the company. It specializes in transportation of cement, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), fly ash, bauxite, steel and chemicals like LPG and propane for top companies in various sectors.
Elaborating about the group’s plans, Mr. Adityaraj Shah, promoter of the group, said, “Exploring business and investment opportunities in the US is part of our strategy to transform ourselves as a global player and develop a world-class transport infrastructure in India.”
Besides the head office in Pune, the company has eight other branch offices and loading points in Mumbai, Solapur, Loni and Saswad Road in Maharashtra,
