Inland Kenworth Opens New Facilities

| September 21, 2014

Inland Kenworth recently underwent significant growth this summer.

The Canadian company, with 22 Kenworth dealerships throughout British Columbia, the Yukon and the western United States, not only moved into its brand new full-service facility in Albuquerque this July, but also recently opened a parts and service location in Kelowna, B.C.

“This new location continues the rapid growth we’ve seen throughout all of our U.S. operations in the past few years,” said Greg Sternberg, vice president of U.S. operations in Arizona and New Mexico. “Strategically located along I-40, the new building will be of easy access to truckers driving through Albuquerque and will be a one-stop shop for their repairs, parts and new sales.”

Sitting at 7711 Fortuna Road N.W., the new building is 40,000 square feet on 8 acres.

The use of a center drive-through service area provides for a cleaner shop in the high desert environment – allowing repairs to be done without the winds bringing dust and dirt inside.

Extensive computer diagnostics are used throughout the shop with everything from diesel particulate filter cleaning to major overhaul available.image
