Jacobs Awarded Contract from the Delaware DOT
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) has that it was awarded a contract from the Delaware Department of Transportation, DOT, to provide transportation homeland security, incident and event planning, and engineering support services.
Officials did not disclose the contract value, however noted that the contract is in effect through 2018.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing transportation system related homeland security planning, engineering, implementation and training; incident and event management planning; homeland security reviews, inspections and analysis of existing transportation system infrastructure.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Kevin McMahon stated, “We are very pleased to receive this award from the Delaware Department of Transportation and look forward to supporting them in meeting their homeland security and event management goals.”
