KORE and Cooltrax Partner to Deliver Fleets with Real-Time Cold Chain Management
KORE, which focuses on Internet of All Things (IoT) solutions, has expanded its partnership with Cooltrax, a leader in real-time cold chain management of fixed, mobile, and product-level assets.
The goal is to fuse KORE’s network coupled with Cooltrax’s cold chain management solutions to provide real-time information for cold chain fleets, as well as fixed assets, allowing for less food waste and increased food safety.
More specifically, KORE enables Cooltrax to locate and monitor all refrigerated trailers, warehouses, and perishable products through a single, web-based interface, 24/7.
This partnership is designed to allow for constant control and overview of assets and environmental performance by allowing for customized reporting on event-based conditions not limited to door opening activities, temperature variations, and geocoding.
Chris Hughes, president, Cooltrax noted, “Our customers need real-time information on temperatures, locations and overall cold chain asset visibility and performance and KORE allows us to provide that information seamlessly.”
“Our longstanding relationship with Cooltrax has focused on supporting their in-service business goals” said Alex Brisbourne, CEO, KORE. “The long-term service assurance of LTE services provided by KORE over its global hub and helps provide critical solutions for cold chain businesses to ensure high standards and safe delivery to their customers.”
