ITS Logistics Taps Ryan Martin as New President of Warehouse & Distribution
Martin has been in the logistics industry for almost 20 years, starting as an intern at the K-Mart Logistics Center in Reno, NV. Upon graduation with a BS in Business Administration and Logistics Management from the University of Nevada, Reno he joined JCPenney and soon became the youngest Senior Facility Manager in the company’s history.
He was elevated to the corporate office as Sr. HR Manager of Associate Development, responsible for training and development of more than 8,000 Supply Chain employees. After becoming a Supply Chain Facility Director on the East Coast, he ended his career at JCPenney in Texas by running their fully automated flagship distribution center which spans 1.1 million sq. ft. and had 430 employees.
Martin then joined Speed Commerce as VP of Operations managing their B2B, e-commerce and call center businesses. Ryan moved back to Reno with EBAY Enterprise and assumed the role of Director of Operations for both Northern Nevada and Southern California. Before coming to ITS, Ryan was the GM of Arrow Electronics’ flagship distribution center, with almost 900 employees.
Martin joins ITS and will be taking over for Darryl Bader, who has been the President of the Warehouse & Distribution division and is one of the original founders of the company. Bader will continue in his role as part owner and board member, as well as remain involved in strategic planning and supporting the executive team.
